Directions to East Down from the A30:
- Take the A30 from Exeter towards Whiddon Down. Then take the turn off the A30 signposted to Cheriton Bishop.
- Take the first left signposted Dunsford found just before the Old Thatch Inn by a large oak tree.
- East Down is about 1.5 miles on the right signposted to East Down and West Down.
- We are at the end of that road over a cattle grid.
